ESL FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS
ESL for College Students is one of the main ESL programs for international students offered in the USA. The worldwide reputation of US colleges and universities means thousands of international students are drawn to study here each year. However, many come from countries where English is not the main language, and must bring their level of English up to the standards required for admission to US institutions. These non-credit ESL programs help international students reach the level of general and academic-focused English they need to gain entrance to a university or college program, and to be able to succeed in a university or college program. International students may take ESL for college student programs before applying to a US college or concurrently, that is while already attending college.
