WHO CAN APPLY
Who can apply for an F-1 student visa to study in the USA? There are a few specific conditions international students must meet in order to be eligible to apply. The following list indicates who can apply for a student visa to the US.

  • You have been accepted by a United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)-approved high school, community college, university, career college or graduate school.

  • You can prove that you can financially cover all your expenses--including return travel--for yourself and any family travelling with you.

  • You are in good health and willing to complete an official medical examination.

  • You are either proficient in English, or enrolled in courses leading to English proficiency.

  • You are a law-abiding citizen with no criminal record, and can pass an American security check.

  • Finally, you will maintain a residence abroad that you do not plan on giving up.
